5 Micro SaaS Making $100,000/Month (Ai + No Code)

We are currently experiencing a micro SaaS boom, with AI-powered apps generating millions in revenue. Today, I’m sharing five micro SaaS products that are each making $100,000 per month, along with the smart strategies behind their success - so you can replicate their approach. Whether you know how to code or not, you can start a SaaS business.

At the end of this article, I’ll also share three micro SaaS tools that went from idea to launch without any code whatsoever.

1. Linkdrip

Linkdrip launched with one core feature: tracking where all your link clicks come from.

How it works:

  • Create a new drip link by pasting a URL (e.g., a YouTube podcast).
  • Place that drip link in your Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter bios.
  • Track exactly how many clicks you get and from which platform.

Before Linkdrip, posting a podcast clip on TikTok might get a million views, but you wouldn’t know how many people actually watched the full podcast on YouTube. Linkdrip solves this problem.

Why Linkdrip is brilliant:

  • It solves one specific problem for a specific group of people.
  • It was built without code.
  • The founder, Simon Hyberg, funded development by announcing a pre-sale on YouTube.
  • Interested users paid $75 for lifetime access before the app was built, generating $70,000 in revenue upfront.
  • This strategy validated the idea, funded development, and eliminated risk.
  • Early users save hundreds of dollars annually.
  • The product has a viral loop: every drip link publicly displays Linkdrip branding, turning users’ social media profiles into free marketing billboards.
  • This product-led growth is a powerful way to scale SaaS.

2. Study Buddy

Study Buddy is an AI tool that automatically completes college students’ homework for them.

The problem:

  • College students often procrastinate or dislike doing homework.

The solution:

  • An AI tool that not only helps find answers but fills in the homework entirely.

This is a classic example of selling a painkiller, not a vitamin. Study Buddy solves the entire problem, rather than just assisting.

Key insights:

  • Founder Oliver Bato shared on my podcast that he focuses on products that are intrinsically viral - so shocking or useful that they go viral repeatedly on social media.
  • Oliver used this strategy before to scale a sex chocolate company to $1 million in revenue, which he sold at age 21.
  • He got the idea after seeing a similar tool go viral on TikTok.
  • Hired one developer and launched an MVP in about 2 months.
  • Created simple TikTok videos showing the AI completing homework in libraries, which racked up millions of views.
  • These videos drove thousands of dollars in monthly recurring revenue.
  • Later, TikTok ads helped scale past $100,000/month in just over 12 months.

Lesson:

Oliver’s content-first approach means he finds a proven content strategy before building the product, then builds the product around that strategy. This is the new era of SaaS.

3. Crayo AI

Crayo is an AI tool that automatically generates short videos for faceless content creators.

Features:

  • AI writes scripts, generates voiceovers, captions, effects, background images, and music.
  • Users create videos for the TikTok Creativity Program, which pays $1 per 1,000 views.
  • If a video gets 1 million views, the creator earns $1,000.

Why Crayo is valuable:

  • It helps users make money, making it easier to convince them to pay.
  • Faceless content means anyone can create videos - from teenagers to stay-at-home parents.
  • Uses dynamic pricing based on the number of videos generated.
  • The more money users make, the more Crayo can charge.
  • In under 6 months, Crayo is generating over $300,000 in monthly recurring revenue.
  • All three founders are teenagers.

How they achieved success:

  • ARB, the technical founder, partnered with two creators:
    • Daniel Bitten, a 15-year-old who made $500,000/month creating short videos on Snapchat with a large following.
    • Musa, founder of Media Meta, a controversial online community teaching people how to repurpose clips for TikTok.
  • Musa’s videos get millions of views, driving thousands to join his paid community.
  • Musa recommends Crayo to his community, instantly bringing thousands of customers.
  • This creator partnership strategy is genius and why my agency, WGY Labs, is going all-in on Creator-Led SaaS.

I’ll release a full video on Creator-Led SaaS soon - subscribe to the channel if interested.

4. Castmagic

Castmagic transforms podcasts into written content optimized for social media.

Growth strategy:

  • Grew to over $120,000/month by leveraging UGC (User Generated Content) creators.
  • Instead of partnering with huge influencers, they pay everyday people a few hundred dollars to make demo videos.
  • These videos can get hundreds of thousands of views.
  • The key is volume - the more UGC creators making videos, the more revenue for Castmagic.

Important marketing insight:

  • The demo videos focus on how to create content across platforms, with Castmagic subtly integrated.
  • This approach helps viewers achieve a desired outcome, rather than just a product tutorial.
  • Similar to Shopify’s success with dropshipping videos - the product is part of a bigger story.

5. Plug AI

Plug AI is an iOS app that helps users have romantic conversations on dating apps - essentially an AI wingman for Tinder.

Highlights:

  • Generates millions in revenue.
  • Built on a simple GPT API.
  • The value lies in its native mobile experience.
  • Shows how well-crafted prompts for a niche use case can create huge value.
  • Costs $15/month.
  • Created by a group of college friends.
